Should I take the higher-paying job if it means missing weekends with my family?

- Is the current pay actually insufficient, or does it just feel small next to the offer? "Godliness with contentment is great gain" (1 Timothy 6:6).

- Is there a middle path? Counter-offer where you are. Ask the new employer for a four-day schedule. Most people skip this and jump.
